Attic project, interior space design and furnishing desing on the theme of “The Little Prince” of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
The apartment evolves on two floors, the customer’s needs was to obtain two big room for kids and a work/play ground open space.
Thinking about a space for kids means thinking about creativity and activity.
The kids’ area is developed around three requests: a independent room for each child, the opportunity to have a common play room and having a studio corner.
All spaces have natural material and modern colours. The staircase is developed using the “Little Prince” design concept, and shows the famous hat/elephant in the front panel. All panels are made in custom made lacquered MDF and are fixed with steel handrail.
The internal subdivisions are reducend to the minimum to guarantee a flexible use. Furnitures are tailor made designed with the purpose to recreating a fairytale environment, suitable to accomodate the kid’s play and creativity.
The project has been developed from the on-site survey to the drawings for the construction site and the carpenter furnishing drawings.
